Former K-Triber Signs with the Red Sox.

The 34-year-old right-hander has been slowed by injuries of
late. He opened last year on the L.A. Angeles' disabled list with a
partial tear in his right rotator cuff. Then it was elbow problems
keeping him off the mound later in the season.

He finished 6-and-8 with a 6.34 ERA in 19 games last season with
the Halos. If he's healthy, Colon could take a spot in the Boston rotation
that opened when Curt Schilling got hurt.

Colon Started his major league career in 1997 with Cleveland. In his 11-year career Colon is 146-95 with an ERA of 4.10. The Righty's last full year was in 2005 when he went 21-8 for the Angels winning the AL Cy Young.

Colon was a member of the Kinston Indians in 1995. The then 22-year-old went 13-3 starting 21 games for the K-Tribe.
