Bobcats Quiet At Trade Deadline

The NBA trade deadline has passed without any deals involving the Charlotte Bobcats.

General manager Rod Higgins said last month the Bobcats weren't
seeking trades, but would listen to any offers.

The team was not close to making a deal before the Thursday afternoon deadline.

In December, the Bobcats acquired forward Nazr Mohammed from
Detroit for center Primoz Brezec and forward Walter Herrmann.
Charlotte also signed point guard Earl Boykins last month.

The slumping Bobcats are just 19-35 and have lost eight of nine games.

They host Sacramento Friday. Forward Gerald Wallace is expected
to play despite a sore right foot.
