Hurricanes Lose On The Road


Chris Mason turned back 31 shots and the Nashville Predators made it four straight wins by blanking Carolina 1-0.

Mason picked up his fourth shutout of the season and helped the Predators move seven games over .500.

J.P. Dumont provided the lone goal, one game after his team-record points streak ended at 16 contests. Dumont tallied at 11:59 of the final period.

Cam Ward turned back 33 shots for the Hurricanes, who fell into
a virtual tie with Atlanta for the Southeast Division lead.
