Carolina Drops Home Game To Calgary

Calgary pulled out a 4-3 win at Carolina on Dion Phaneuf's goal with 8:12 remaining.

Jarome Iginla and Kristian Huselius also scored for the Flames after recording hat tricks in a 9-6 win at Tampa Bay the night before. Iginla's
power-play goal put Calgary ahead 3-2 just 25 seconds into the third period. Matt Cullen tied it with a power-play tally before the Flames improved to 4-and-0 on their six-game road trip.

Dustin Boyd also scored for the Flames, who won despite being outshot 36-21.

Miikka Kiprusoff handled 33 shots in his 15th win.

Cullen had two assists for the Hurricanes.
