Raptor's Ford Taken Off Court On Stretcher

Toronto Raptors guard T.J. Ford will likely spend the night in an Atlanta hospital after being taken off the court on a stretcher following a hard foul in tonight's 100-88 win at Atlanta.

Ford, who had 26 points, was headed toward a breakaway basket when Hawks rookie Al Horford hit the guard's face with his hand. Ford landed hard, with his head bouncing off the floor.

Ford missed the 2004-05 season following neck surgery.

Horford was called for a flagrant foul and ejected.

Ford was conscious and a Raptors spokesman confirmed that Ford had feeling in his upper and lower extremities when he was taken off the floor.
