Romo Lifts Cowboys To Last Second Win Over Lions

Jason Witten almost cost the Dallas Cowboys a
shot at clinching the NFC East this afternoon. But the Cowboys'
tight end eventually was part of the go-ahead touchdown in a 28-27
win at Detroit.
The Lions led 27-21 until Witten hauled in a 16-yard touchdown
pass from Tony Romo with 18 seconds remaining. It came one
possession after Witten lost a fumble on the Detroit 1 late in the
final period.
Witten finished with career highs of 15 receptions and 138
yards.
Marion Barber ran for two touchdowns and grabbed an eight-yard
scoring pass from Romo, who was 35-of-44 for 302 yards and no
interceptions.
At 12-and-1, the Cowboys wrapped up a division title while
sending the 6-and-7 Lions to their fifth consecutive loss.
Kevin Jones had a pair of touchdown runs for the Lions, who led
27-14 heading into the fourth quarter.
