Major League Pitcher Dies

Toronto pitcher Joe Kennedy died early Friday morning, according to an official in the Hillsborough County, Florida, sheriff's office. He was 28.

The official says Kennedy passed out at his home and was taken to a hospital but had no further details.

Kennedy's agent, Damon Lapa, told ESPN.com Kennedy died while at
home with his family.

The left-hander was 43-and-61 in seven major league seasons with five teams.
