Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees have
agreed to the outline of a 10-year, 275 million dollar contract. A
person familiar with the contract talks has confirmed to The
Associated Press, on condition of anonymity, the amount of the
guaranteed money. As part of the deal, Rodriguez could potentially
earn millions more if he sets the career home-run record.
The Yankees and Rodriguez's agent, Scott Boras, still need to
draft the agreement.
