Vinny Testaverde is the front runner to be Carolina's starting quarterback Sunday when the Panthers face visiting Atlanta. The 44-year-old signal caller returned to practice today while David Carr sat it out due to a concussion he suffered late in last week's game.
Testaverde hasn't played since injuring his right Achilles'
tendon in an October 28th loss to Indianapolis. He practiced
without limitations while splitting time with undrafted rookie Matt
Carr watched from the sideline.
Coach John Fox gave no update on Carr's condition and refused to
name a starter for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
