'Canes Fall 4-2 To Florida


Olli Jokinen provided a goal and two assists while Florida was erupting for four goals in the third period of a 4-2 win over Carolina.

Jokinen's seventh goal of the season tied the game 1-1. Erik Cole put the Hurricanes back in front, but Jokinen assisted on goals by Jay Bouwmeester and Richard Zednik 3:30 apart to put the Panthers ahead 3-2 late in the third period. Nathan Horton capped the scoring with the Panthers' third power-play goal of the final stanza.

Tomas Vokoun turned back 28 shots and helped the Panthers kill off the Hurricanes' three power plays.
