Cowboys Young QB Gets Long-Term Deal

The Cowboys have scheduled an afternoon news conference to officially announce that quarterback Tony Romo has signed a new contract.

After winning 12 of his first 17 NFL starts, Romo is signing a six-year, 67-million-dollar contract, 30 million of which is guaranteed.

Contract details were provided yesterday by a person familiar with the deal who requested anonymity because the contract had not been signed.
