Red Sox Even Series At 3-3

The American League Championship Series is headed
for a seventh and deciding game as the Boston Red Sox crushed
Cleveland 12-2 to even the best-of-seven series at three games
apiece.
J.D. Drew belted a first-inning grand slam off losing pitcher
Fausto Carmona and added an RBI single in a six-run
third.
Curt Schilling went seven innings for the win giving up two runs
on six hits including Victor Martinez's solo homer in the second.
Schilling's career postseason record improves to 10-and-2.
Carmona suffered the loss while getting tagged for seven runs on
six hits with four walks in two-plus innings. Boston's third-inning
outburst was helped along by two Tribe errors.
Kevin Youkilis added three hits and an RBI for Boston and Julio
Lugo chipped in with a two-run double.
Daisuke Matsuzaka will pitch Game 7 for Boston while
the Indians will go with Jake Westbrook.
