Joe Torre's future with the Yankees remains unclear as organizational meetings at the home of owner George Steinbrenner have adjourned for the night.
A team spokesman says no decisions have been made and there would be no comment. The meetings will resume tomorrow.
Team officials are debating whether to bring Torre back as manager for a 13th season. Earlier this month, Steinbrenner told The Record of New Jersey he didn't think he'd bring Torre back if the Yankees failed to advance to the AL Championship series.
The Indians then eliminated New York in four games -- the Yankees' third straight first-round exit.
