LSU Remains #1 After Win Over Florida

LSU is the unanimous number-one team in the
latest Associated Press football poll. The 6-and-0 Tigers grabbed
all 65 first-place votes following yesterday's 28-24 win over
Florida.
California moved up a spot to number-two, thanks in part to
Southern Cal's shocking home loss to Stanford. Ohio State is third,
followed by Boston College, South Florida, Oklahoma, South
Carolina, West Virginia, Oregon and Southern Cal.
Missouri moved up six spots to 11th, ahead of Virginia Tech,
Florida, Arizona State and Cincinnati. Sixteenth-rated Hawaii is
followed by Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kansas.
Illinois cracked the poll with yesterday's 31-26 win over
Wisconsin, which dropped the Badgers 14 spots to 19.
Florida State, Auburn, Texas, Georgia and Tennessee round out
the top 25.
