(Bayboro) -- The Southside Seahawks stayed perfect on the season beating Pamlico County 18-12 in overtime.
The game was played on a Wednesday night in hopes of avoiding bad weather from Hurricane Earl.
The Seahawks led 12-0 at halftime by way of a Terrill Moore quarterback sneak and Julien Brown's three yard touchdown run but Southside failed to score in the second half.
Pamlico County would rally to tie the game at 12 and send it into two overtimes. In the second OT Southside quarterback Jordan Benston, in for an injured Terrill Moore, scored the game winner on a fourth down play near the one yard line.
Southside will now have nine days to prepare for a home game against Columbia set for September 10th. Pamlico County will host a fourth consecutive game to start the season when the Hurricanes entertain West Craven on September 10th.

Haha- You guys tell me I'm wrong. I know more about scheduling high school football than any of you. Losers! I'm in the know. Now your jealous, I see it.
All you guys up here going back and forth with each other. You need to stop beating each other down. The one who brags is the one who looses.
