Tarboro defensive end Tyquan Lewis has verbally committed to play college football at Ohio State. He becomes the 17th commitment to OSU's 2013 football class.
The 6'3", 225 pound defensive end is considered a four-star recruit whol picked the Buckeyes over North Carolina and LSU.
He had official scholarship offers from more than 14 major schools including Auburn, Clemson, East Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
