J.H. Rose head football coach Dave Wojtecki returned to practice Monday following a five-day suspension.
The Pitt County School district disciplined the first-year head coach due to an issue with "sportsmanship and respect." There were reports of an acronym painted in the Rose locker room that was offensive to the Rampant's biggest rival, D.H. Conley High School.
Wojtecki was named interim head coach after Todd Lipe was suspended during the Maleek Gorham case.
