South Central Snaps Losing Streak On Homecoming

The South Central High School football team won a 48-42 shootout behind running back Montrell McCotter and quarterback Ethan Cochran.

McCotter carried the ball 19 times for 218 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 63 receiving yards for the falcons.

Cochran was 7-of-12 through the air for 128 yards and one touchdown. he also rushed the ball seven times for 20 yards and one more score.

South Central (4-4, 1-2) picked up its first conference victory and snapped a three game losing streak by rolling up 385 yards of total offense in the victory.

The falcons travel to Havelock Friday night. The Rams beat D.H. Conley on Monday night 38-7.
