West Craven Improves To 7-0 With 16-6 Win Over Washington

West Craven took advantage of five Washington turnovers to stay undefeated. The Eagles put their first touchdown on the board in the second quarter on a 1-yard Brett Mooring run. Ryan Murphy booted a 38-yard field goal on the last play of the first half to give the visitors a 10-0 lead.

West Craven's special teams play accounted for another touchdown with a third quarter blocked punt. The Pam Pack avoided the shut out with a 16-yard run from Mike Moore in the fourth quarter.

Washington takes on the struggling JH Rose Rampants next Friday at Wagner Stadium while West Craven faces the New Bern Bears.
