GAME DAY: East Carolina Hangs On For 24-17 Win

East Carolina improved to 2-0 in Conference USA play as they beat Middle Tennessee State 24-17 Saturday evening in Tennessee.

Shane Carden hooked up with former West Craven standout Justin Hardy for a touchdown in the 4th quarter to give ECU a 24-17 lead on MTSU.

Blue Raiders QB Logan Kilgore connected with Tavarres Jefferson on a 26-yard touchdown completion to tie ECU at 17 late in the 3rd quarter.

A Warren Harvey field goal has extended the Pirates lead to 17-10 against MTSU in the third quarter.

Shane Carden called his own number on a goal line run to give East Carolina a 14-10 lead in the 2nd quarter against MTSU.
