I don't think JDLadd reads the baseball polls, otherwise he'd know that ECU is a well recognized baseball team. To stay in the rankings the WHOLE season, and the fact that's it a "little college from Eastern North Carolina" is pretty darn awesome!

I'm sorry to see Coach Jarrett leave. He truly made a difference in Pirate Baseball. Also, JDLadd, I think that if you look at the ECU program it IS a well recognized team and has proven over the past that it too can win. While we have not yet made the College World Series, the tradition of excellence and solid performance has given the Pirates a national reputation for excellence. Simply because Conference USA does not have the historical reputation of the SEC does not in any way diminish the accomplishments of the Pirate Baseball team. Finally, I fully respect your right to your opinion but, please do not impugn the work, accomplishments and tradition of our Pirate team.
