Anonymous; I have to agree with you there. NC State beat every team in NC last year so they should be considered best in state. ECU had their chance and blew it. However, I did notice on TV that when the head coach for NC State made the comment that NC State was the best in NC, all the other coaches in the ACC made remarks against NC State but I saw no response from Skip Holtz. I do not know if the media tried to get a response from Skip or not but he had nothing bad to say about NC State. But lets be realistic. Conference USA, even though it is not a BCS conference, isn't all that weak. Louisville and Cincinatti came out of there and seem to be thriving. There are a lot of schools in the BCS that Conference USA teams could beat. NC State did not have a great all around record but the teams they did beat were all in NC so they do deserve their props for that.

It seems like ECU fans have forgotten that NC State beat ECU the last 2 years in football. I have always thought if a team beats you then that team is a better team, but I guess that isn't the case for ECU fans. Oh by the way if NC State played in a weak Conference (let's say Conference USA) then we probably be conference champs.

You never know Dave, I might vote for you depending on which platform you run on.

I have a better shot of winning the 2012 presidential election than ECU has of going to the ACC in the next 50 years.

Coach M speaks some sense. Am I to understand that if ECU was voted into the ACC that you would then pull for ECU since you are an ACC fan?
