ECU-ODU Baseball Moved To March 4

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina University officials announced Monday afternoon that the midweek baseball game between No. 23 ECU and Old Dominion, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Mar. 3, has been pushed back to Wednesday afternoon due to potential inclement weather and below freezing temperatures in the area. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Pirates (5-1) are coming off a 2-1 week where they picked up their first win over a nationally-ranked team in 2009, defeating No. 11 Oklahoma State 14-7. ECU hosted the Sixth Annual LeClair Classic this past weekend posting a 1-1 record in the rain-shorten event collecting a win over St. John's, 9-7 before falling to Oklahoma State, 7-6.

After the midweek matchup with the Monarchs, the Pirates will hit the road for the first time when they travel to Statesboro, Ga. to participate in the Holiday Inn Eagle Invitational. The three-day event will pit ECU again LeMoyne, Indiana and host institution Georgia Southern.

Sorry, but gotta agree with Dave on this one. Throwing gay jokes around has nothing to do with sports. Lets keep conversation to sports and the occasional momma joke. ha ha

Sam I've seen my share of gay people in Greenville. Face it, that is an epidemic that is everywhere and NOT going away!

JDLadd, I forgot to mention, did you ever see Robert's post on the other page? That will tell you some truth to what UNC and Chapel Hill is all about.

JDLadd, there is no way that can even come close to happening. Did you forget that ECU defeated #11 OKLAHOMA STATE by SEVEN RUNS? That shows that the pirates are that good. I cant help it that they are that good. After ECU sweeps UNC, that will prove just exactly how overrated UNC is. Especially with the fact that ECU has a much much better hitting team than UNC and also has a better #1 and #2 pitcher than UNC.

Rice, UCLA, NC, and NCST will sweep away ECU and they will plummet in the rankings to where they belong.

JDLadd, remember this, #20 out of 302 D-1 baseball teams, in the top 10%! #3 for a few weeks back in 2004! Numbers 20 and 3 are not just above average are they? Davey Boy, you and your family must be living over between downtown and the hospital, I bet and how about I just keep using all the characters that I want to! Huh? Huh? Huh? How about that?

By the way, after ECU wins the Super Regional, get ready for some cheese to go with that wine, cause you will sure need it.

I don't know why you guys think I live with my parents. I hate to burst your bubble but I live with my wife and son. My parents live in PA and I haven't seen them in 4 months. As for you Sam, you better get your typing fingers ready because I'm not going anywhere.
