Sunday Night Football

ECU takes the field tonight at 8 for a rare Sunday night game. The game will be broadcast on ESPN. NBC's Sunday Night Football features New England at Indianapolis. That game can be seen on WITN.

The Pirates are 4-3 for the season while UCF is 2-5. UCF's wins have come against South Carolina State and SMU. They have played a tough schedule and came up on the short end against South Florida, Boston College and Miami. Their two conference losses were at UTEP and at Tulsa.

Dave, no I'm not kidding, unfortunately for both of us. I'd love to be wrong though, other than Boise state and PSU and can't stomach the though of any of the rest winning the NC. Good luch JoePa

Big T are you kidding me? PSU could hang with ANYBODY!

Dave, you may be right but unfortunately, I don't think that PSU has the skills to beat anyone in the top 10 right now. Boise State is a maybe. They will probably go undefeated. Their biggest test of this season was last weekend. They will, in all liklihood, enter the bowl mix undefeated barring any surprises. That will pit them against the likes of Texas Tech, Alabama, or God forbid USC. All of which I hope JoePa can get the NC from, but feel that each would smoke PSU's camel! I like PSU too, but they are simply not as good as their record would suggest.

Who can throw the ball a mile and with great speed, but can't hit a target? Kass. Why was he left in there until mid-way through the third quarter? Did he whine enough to ensure that he would receive plenty of PT in front of his hometown family and friends? Pinkney FINALLY gets in, leads the team to a touchdown to tie the game at 10, and then Kass goes back in on the next possession only to throw an interception on the first play. I hope the coaches come to their senses and start Pinkney this weekend.

You guys are just ENVIOUS of me because Penn State is going to no worse than the ROSE BOWL. Oh, and I hope ECU does play for the CUSA Title so TULSA can whoop up on them and give ECU further embarrassment. The way ECU played last night I'm not sure if they could beat Winthrop. Anyway, I was watching the Indy/NE game and only turned it to the ECU game during commercials and half time. From what I saw on the highlights though both ECU and CFU are DREADFUL and they were lucky to be playing eachother because if they weren't BOTH teams would have got bombarded by a REAL team.

I am sure dave and SC are probably state or carolina fans, most likely, either way how bout these two guys go away from eastern north carolina especially greenville. Dave better go back up north to Pennsylvania (Nittany Lion Territory)where he belongs. These horrible people are not welcome at all around me.

Yes hallelujah it was a win, it was an ugly win, but a win nontheless. I have seen better local high school games. hey DK, if I am not mistaken, Dave not only watches ECU I am relatively sure he works for ECU. What do you think of that? Dave is just mad because the red raiders jumped over his beloved nittany lions. PSU will probably go undefeated, but it is because, other than OSU, most of the teams they have played/will play couldn't beat...well...ECU. They are in a weak conference. Not one that is historically weak, just weak this particular year. CUSA is a pathetic conference this year as well. ECU has a shot at CUSA title game it is so bad. C'mon deadfish get on that recruiting bandwagon with me. we need some talented players, more than just one or two. And some that can manage to stay out of handcuffs and the courtroom.

Your embarrassing yourself because they won. If you hate ECU so much. Why are you watching the game? If they lose you talk junk. If they win you talk junk. Sounds like a personal problem. You have issues that you need to work out.
