TMD tune in to ABC at 8:00 tonight; #12 PSU plays #22 Illinois. Besides, PSU BOMBED Oregon State 45-14 the same Oregon State team that beat formerly #1 USC.

Dave and Deadfish, How bout those mighty Trojans. Didn't look so mighty last night.By the way, please tell me who Penn State has played? HAHAHAHAHAHA

Agreed deadfish, but the money doesn't hurt. The academic reputation is an entirely different issue. Lets you and I agree to disagree. You despise the pirates and I despise USC (and UCLA)(and Tennessee for that matter) I think that is what drives this conversation. However, I look forward to Dave, you, and myself conversing after the Houston game, it should be a hoot! You are very knowledgable on NCAA football, I will give you that. I'd like your "unbiased" take on ECU's shot at CUSA title last year being lost by us choking at Marshall. (Another case of the big heads thinking a game was won before we ever got there). That was not a Skip problem, that was a player problem. Skip has done much to correct discipline and attitude problems that were here (allowed to fester under Logan in my "humble" opinion) but, admittedly, there is still some of that he needs to work on.

"Mr. "T": It takes more than money to lure a five star HS prospect. Tradition, reputation and an excellent academic rating to name a few. I can relate tradition to the number of championships won by the school. Reputation identifies with the number of players that have made it big in the NFL. Academic excellence speaks for itself. I can quickly name three schools that fit that mold but I won't in order to remain objective and unbiased. Rest my case. Thanks

Hey Rob why didn't you show up today?

Is ecu a good team? Yes, for the conference they are in. Could they compete in other conferences? Yes, with the lesser teams, I think. Do they compare with a USC, Oklahoma, or even you hated Ohio State? Probably not, however, ECU has been known to be a giant killer. But, it doesn't matter if you beat Miami, then turn around and lose to Marshall. I believe we compete well in CUSA, we could compete in ACC (NOT in basketball) if we were more consistent, and we could dominate in the CAA. Will ECU ever win a national championship? Probably not, but even with the booster support we have, we still don't have the dollars it takes to draw all 5-star players. Unlike (school names edited out) we can't give all our players Hummers, 1200.00/month allowances, and throw hookers through their windows every saturday night. We work mostly with local talent, which, in part, is why everyone here that pulls for the pirates does so with such passion. BTW, VT, Boise State, WVA, and Tulane weren't creampuffs

    Slight Edit

WOW Pirate I see that you are still obsessing over me and deadfish again. All I'm trying to say is that ECU is NOT a good team and they would get mauled if they weren't in CUSA with the other cream puffs.

Thanks CM because that is how it is all meant is in fun. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a good crack, as long as when you dish it out you are willing to take it. I actually appreciated my "gramma skoolin". However, since there are so many people here named "pirate" I will change mine to Big T so when Dave and deadfish come on line to insult me I want them to be sure they got the right guy! I enjoy it. Its like arguing sports at the local bar without the cigarette smoke and drunks. And quite frankly, I consider both relatively intelligent. However, when it comes to my pirates, it appears it's like an allergen, both of their brains stop working. So remember guys; look for Big T!

Hey Robert Lewis, you need to leave Dave and Deadface alone. Don't you know that they are legends in their own minds. Dave is the Madden wannabe and Fishbreath is the reincarnation of Edgar Allen Poe. You really shouldn't challenge them this way-you may get hurt. Don't you know that a knock-out requires a jolt to the brain? Now Robert, how can you jolt something if the person simply does not posess it? So sit back and let the Dense Dave and Fishlips show go on. At least Dave likes a team with a classy coach not one that graduates murderers! Was that punctuated correctly? I am not sure. According to Deadstench I cannot form a sentence. Thats fine, all the booksense in the world is useless if you can't find your way around with both hands and a flashlight! And Dave, I am obsessed with you! You are whom I hope to see comments from when I check things out. I hope you guys know this is fun. Or are you chicks pretending to be dudes? This is just like a roast, it's great!

Editor's Note: This one probably violates our "no calling out" rule but given the tone, the topic and the context, I let it slide. CM

That post dedicated to me sure was funny. What is also funny is that somebody is so obsessed with me that they used up valuable time to type such a long post. LOL!! GO PENN STATE!!
