#15 in the AP poll, so what? #17 according to USA Today and college coaches poll: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/usatpoll.htm That means that the USA Today poll has more credibility than the east coast biased AP because the coaches voted. How do you do? Central Florida is going to beat ECU! BTW you heard it here from me first. According to rivals.com CFB recruiting rankings Duke is #32 ECU is #70. You won't be bragging much longer. Even if ECU finishes undefeated or with one loss they will NOT go go to any BCS bowl so Pirates fans settle for some ding-dong popcorn bowl! There are 16 teams ahead>OUCH!When you beat the #5 team in the nation 35-3 then you can make some noise! Those that do NOT know USC beat OSU!John ECU will NOT beat Wake Forest NOR UNC...

As I look at the polls I don't see any teams in the ACC higher than ECU. GO Pirates!!!

Good teams know how to win even when they play badly. Way to go Pirates! At least the Pirates didn't schedule junior college/high school level to start their year off like some other NC schools.

ECU in the Top 25? Well, Andy Warhol said that everyone is famous for fifteen minutes. It's about 14 minutes after on my watch. Savor the flavor.

These AP rankings don't mean ANYTHING! Let's see where ECU is, or should I say ISN'T in the BCS polls in November. ECU plays NO MORE ranked teams and is going to struggle to make it any higher than #15 in the AP and the BCS won't even look at them at all.

ECU will steadily fall out of the top 25, unless they win each with authority. They can't struggle like with Tulane. They have no more top 25 opponents, so will have to beat everybody to stay in.

Everybody has a bad day. I hope Staurday was the only one for the Pirates, so many mistakes. They dropped because of performance, not a loss. The pollsters expect PERFORMANCE. KEEP FOCUSED, PIRATES! YOU ARE BETTER THAN WHAT WE SAW ON THE FIELD THIS WEEK! GO PIRATES!!!

Dave is an ECU hater. It doesn't matter what the topic is. It doesn't matter to Dave that when ECU wins, the community benefits from it. If he lived in Tallahassee or Gainsville or even Los Angeles, he'd find something wrong with the local program. Dave is a sadly negative person and I pity him. I hope you find happiness in your life, Dave. The Pirate Nation is pulling for you to come out of your pitiful funk.
