Vote To Bring GameDay To Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Chris Fowler, the GameDay bus and Pirate Nation joining forces for the filming of a commercial? Yes. And you can make it happen.

For the first time, ESPN College GameDay will be filming one of its commercials on a campus selected by fans. The winning school, decided solely on votes cast, will be featured in a College GameDay ad that will run on the ESPN family of networks this fall.

The voting, which will include fans from more than 120 schools, takes places over a 10-day span that begins Monday at noon and continues through May 2 at 11:59 p.m. Individuals are allowed to vote one time per day at GameDayVote.com, m.GameDayVote.com on mobile devices or Facebook.com/collegegameday.

The winning school will be announced soon after the contest ends.

On the field, the Pirates return seven offensive and seven defensive starters for head coach Ruffin McNeill's third season. East Carolina will open the 2012 campaign Sept. 1 with a home contest against Appalachian State.
