Greenville -- After trailing 5-0 in the 3rd inning of Friday night's Conference USA game against UAB, East Carolina rallied to beat the Blazers 11-6 to take game one of the series.
ECU's Jay Cannon collected four of East Carolina's 17 hits in five plate appearances while Tim Younger was 3-for-4 with a team high four runs batted in.
The two teams will play game two of a three game series Saturday at 2pm with game three set for 10:30 am on Sunday.
