Who need Skip? We sure don't. Ruff is already bringing in at least as good of recruits as Skip ever has. Look at Alfy Hill from West Brunswick High School. Now this individual is smart to make the decision to join the great Pirate Nation.

To heck with Skip. With that lame Todd Fitch offense we would be 1-5 at best if Skip had stayed (ask USF fans how they are liking that "offense"). Yes, Skip recruited some good players but I think Ruffin is doing more with them than he would have. Ruffin, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Thank you hokie. You are one of the reasons why I like Virginia Tech very well. You guys and your big rivals UVA show way more respect and class than UNC or N.C. State ever does. I'd be surprised if the Big East takes another school over ECU. To Frank Sinatra, you must also be one of those Obama voters who live off of the government to as dumb as you sound.

Don't thank Ruffin. These are Skip's players; you people need to be thanking him.

Again several ugly turnovers and costly mistakes and yet you still won. Perhaps there is something special in the making for this bunch of pirates.

There will be a few more bumps in the road this year for a young ECU football team but overall Coach Ruff has done a helluva job motivating these young men . He appears to be a great people person and they like to play for this man. Given the amount inexperience on this team , the performance of this team thus far needs to be applauded.Terry Holland has to be extemely happy with his selection. Better days are ahead for ECU despite all the jawing from outside observers. Just play ball and stayed focused on one game at a time.Go Pirates !

It is encouraging. ECU was predicted to have a 5-7 season. Coach Ruff did an amazing job!

Interesting that you seem so up on the ECU football team Frank...obviously they rank in your life as something to keep an eye on as you post as soon as anything goes up onthe board about ECU. You worry that we may be getting more air tume than your team? By the way: what is your team of choice??

You guys are looking good and people are noticing the pirates. Keep winning and the Big East will get you. They are a little slow sometimes.
