GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina Head Volleyball Coach Pati Rolf and Director of Athletics Terry Holland have mutually agreed not to renew Rolf’s contract for the 2013 season. Rolf has been at the helm of the Pirate program since 2009.

Rolf spent four years in a leadership role with the Pirates in which she compiled a 15-101 overall record. Her teams achieved consecutive marks of 9-19 in 2009, 2-30 in 2010, 2-27 in 2011 and 2-25 for the recently-completed 2012 campaign.

Under Rolf's direction, setter Hannah Fenker became the first player in ECU volleyball history to amass 2,000 assists and 1,000 digs in her career. Additionally, Rolf helped middle hitter Kelly Derby complete her career with 340 blocks to rank fifth in the program's records, while setter Kasey Kavanaugh collected 1,188 assists to crack ECU's all-time top 10 list.

Holland, who indicated a search to find a replacement will begin immediately, has appointed assistant coach Jeri Estes to oversee the daily operation of the program.
