Former ECU Football Coach Ed Emory Passes Away

Former ECU head football coach Ed Emory has passed away at the age of 74.

Emory coached the pirates from 1980-84. He led the Pirates to their first ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 poll in 1983 when ECU finished ranked 20th.

Emory earned three varsity letters playing for the Pirates in the late 1950s.
