ECU, NC State To Square Off In Basketball Tonight

The ECU Men's basketball team will take on North Carolina State tonight at 6 p.m. on day one of the Charleston Classic in South Carolina.

It will be just the 19th meeting between the two teams. The Pirates have just one victory in the series: a 75-69 victory over the Wolfpack at Minges Coliseum in December 2007.

Thursday's game will be the first away game this season for East Carolina. They're under the direction of new head coach Jeff Lebo. The game will televised regionally on Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN).

I'm amazed it was that close. I'd have more interest in watching women's volleyball here if they had a winning program.

Direct TV covered the game on channel 640, ECU lost by 21 but they hung in tough in the first half, Sampson and Brock played well, the team needs to work on free throws. ECU played hard they just got beat by a better team tonight. Look for brighter days for ECU basketball

85-65? ECU bball program is really going places. That strong bball C-USA conference was really seen tonight. Know your place folks, happy to see the football program doing well, but to even think you have anything for even the lowest ranked ACC bball program is funny as hell.
