ECU - Navy Flyover Cancelled

Saturday's scheduled fly-through by military aircraft prior to the Navy-East Carolina football game has been cancelled according to announcement by ECU Associate Vice-Chancellor Steve Duncan, who offered the following statement:

"We regret to announce there will not be a military fly-through prior to Saturday's game. The Navy unit from Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana was notified earlier this week it will be deploying and no longer have aircraft to support this mission. I know all of us at ECU and throughout eastern North Carolina wish them a successful deployment and a safe return."

Looks like it's been a bad day for you true "patriots". First, your precious "heroes" did do their fly over. Second, this overrated college got thumped by the same "heroes" you worship.

I agree. No more flyovers, parades or any spectacle at all. Hell, lets just ban the military. That will save us a lot of money and then I can save 10.00 a year in taxes.

TO: To Wisdom- Yeah, a real piece of "reporting" from a "gay" who got his job because his mama was rich. Very qualified reporter-duh. But you are right! If he said it, then that settles it. It must be true the way he said it! Even though he loves Obama he would never let that skew his "reporting". Can you explain why nobody watches his show? Check his ratings.

I do not know the actual cost but I do know they are taking 40 planes, 2 helicopters are being disassembled and reassembled on site, 1 limo, and they have booked an entire 5 star hotel. Perhaps someone should show the White House one of those Go To Meeting commercials.

Wisdom - I know what you mean! I won't eat lunch at Burger King because it costs $1000. Someone told me that, so it must be true.

Your an idiot just like all the conservatives. It doesn't cost 200 mil a day. Stop repeating false information and get the fact straight. Check out this real piece of reporting,
