GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina officials have announced that Wednesday nights baseball game between No. 30 ECU and No. 8 North Carolina has been cancelled due to severe rain in the area. The game will NOT be made up during the 2012 season.
Customers who purchased single game tickets for the North Carolina game can exchange their tickets for next Tuesday's game against High Point (May 25). If customers cannot attend the High Point contest, a refund will be issued for all North Carolina game tickets. To receive a refund, please contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 252-737-4500.
The Pirates (32-16-1, 13-7-1) will be back in action this weekend, May 11-13, when they travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. to square off against Southern Miss (25-22, 9-9).
