ECU Grad To Pilot Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium Flyover Saturday

Greenville -- Saturday's college football game at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium has been designated as Military Appreciation Day and will feature a KC-135 flyover piloted by ECU graduate Lt. Col. Andy Croom.

The flyover of the KC-135 Stratotanker is schedule for 3:23pm weather permitting. The path of Hurricane Sandy could impact the pregame flyover.

The KC-135 Stratotanker from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base performed a flyover last season prior to the Carolina Panthers game against the Green Bay Packers at Bank Of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Croom directed air operations from the stadium ensuring the perfect timing.

Croom will be joined by other members of the 916th Air Refueling Wing, Air Force Reserve.
