Benefit Raises More Than $54,000 For Spencer Hampton

Hundreds of people showed up at Tiebreaker's in Greenville for the "Against All Odds" Benefit for Spencer Hampton. The event featuring live and silent auction items raised more than $54,000 with a few thousand still to be collected.

All the money raised will go to the "Spencer Hampton Fund" to help the Hampton family with medical costs.

Former ECU football player Spencer Hampton has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. Friends and family will gather at Tie Breaker's Sports Bar in Greenville on April 1 to raise money for medical costs Spencer and his family are facing.

The event will be held from 4-9pm and feature musical acts Jupiter Jones and Victor Hudson. There will also be live and silent auctions with items from the world of sports, entertainment and lots of local restaurants.
