Pirates Lose Shocker To Campbell

Buies Creek - Despite a game high 19 points by point guard Brock Young the ECU men's basketball team drops to 1-2 on the season following Tuesday night's 74-68 loss on the road to Campbell.

The Pirates trailed the Camels by nine points early in the first half but rallied to take a one point halftime lead.

East Carolina could not shake off the Camels in the second half in route to a second consecutive loss away from Greenville.

The Pirates shot just 3-of-15 from beyond the three-point line for a dismal 20 percent.

The Camels scored 19 points off of 20 East Carolina turnovers.

ECU will travel to St. Thomas for a matchup against Tennessee on Friday.

Hey Lou, We lost to WFU by 31, so I'm not sure how smart it is to brag about out rebounding them unless rebounds start determining the winner instead of points.

The schedule says on Friday ECU is at #10 Tennessee Lou. I'm just stating what's in print.

Ladd, if you could read it says ECU is playing in St. Thomas, not Tennessee. By the way, the Pirates out rebounded a Wake Forest team whose starting 5 had 11 inches on the Pirate's starters. HA! you bum

What's shocking about ECU losing in basketball? When does baseball begin?
