Wojcik Signs Extension To Stay At Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Doug Wojcik has agreed to a new six-year
contract to remain as Tulsa's basketball coach.

Athletic director Bubba Cunningham says the new deal adds a
two-year extension to Wojcik's previous contract and now runs
through the 2014-15 season.

Because Tulsa is a private school, other details of the contract
were not revealed.

Wojcik is 81-53 in four seasons with the Golden Hurricane. Tulsa
has won at least 20 games each of the past three seasons and went
25-11, reaching the second round of the National Invitation
Tournament.

Wojcik says he is fortunate to coach at Tulsa and says the city
is a wonderful place to raise a family.
