Withers: Barth Out Again For UNC Vs. Louisville

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- North Carolina interim coach Everett Withers says the Tar Heels won't have kicker Casey Barth for Saturday's final nonconference game against Louisville.

Withers says Barth is out "at least" another week with a thigh injury that has sidelined him for the past two games.

Withers says running back A.J. Blue, safety Jonathan Smith, and linebackers Kevin Reddick and Ebele Okakpu are all nursing ankle injuries, while center Cam Holland is recovering from a sore back. The players will all likely be questionable for the game.

Speaking before Thursday's practice, Withers said the team also plans to move Tre Boston from cornerback to safety to allow for an increased role for cornerback Jabari Price. Price recently returned from a preseason hand injury.
