UNC Keeps Streak Alive At Home Vs. Clemson

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- Harrison Barnes hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with about 5 minutes left to help North Carolina beat Clemson 75-65 on Tuesday night, staying perfect all-time against the Tigers at home.

Barnes finished with 13 points and six rebounds for the Tar Heels (13-5, 3-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), who improved to 55-0 all-time against the Tigers in Chapel Hill -- an NCAA record for most consecutive home wins against a single opponent.

Fellow freshman and Kinston native Reggie Bullock scored 16 of his season-high 18 points in the first half, while John Henson added 14 points and a key tip-in with about 2 minutes to go.

Devin Booker, Andre Young and Demontez Stitt each scored 11 points for the Tigers (13-5, 2-2), who rallied from a 10-point deficit in the second half and headed into the final minutes in a tie game. Clemson didn't score in the final 4 1/2 minutes as the Tar Heels made enough plays to win it late.

The people I am talking about never went to college. I don't know one person personal that went to Duke. Besides I like UNC but went to NCSU and ECU. I pull for all three until they play each other, then its ECU then UNC then NCSU. As far as arrogance, look at college sports tee shirts and pay attention to which teams put down other teams on them. I own shirts for ECU, UNC and NCSU but none of them mention anything about any other team.

Maybe they go to other schools, or just generally hate the arrogance of UNC fans?

I never could understand how people born and raised in NC could hate a team named NC.

13-5. May I ask who you are a fab of? A lot of teams would love to be 13-5. One of them right here in Pitt Co. One in Raleigh.

I am a die hard UNC hater, but 55-0 against a team at home, all time...now that is impressive

Ugly game heels. Clemson gave you guys all you could until 4 min left in the game. You'll have to do better if you're going to the big dance this year but, at least your win streak is still alive over the tigers.

Well at least that's something for the Tarheel fans to brag about. They sure haven't been playing college level basketball this year!!!

This is a very low luster team. I doubt they be in the NCAA Tournament.
