CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- Chay Shegog scored a career-high 23 points to lead No. 16 North Carolina to a 61-38 win over Presbyterian on Tuesday.
North Carolina took a 30-13 lead at halftime enroute to its 400th victory at Carmichael Arena.
The Tar Heels (4-0) shot 37.7 percent (23 of 61) from the floor and committed 19 turnovers, but clamped down on defense, holding Presbyterian (2-3) to 14-of-54 shooting (25.9 percent) and forcing 21 turnovers.
Laura Broomfield and She'la White added 10 points each for UNC.
Kristen Stevens scored 11 points for Presbyterian.
