RALEIGH, N.C. – Visits from ACC champion Florida State, Duke, North Carolina and defending NIT champion Stanford highlight NC State’s impressive 2012-13 home schedule. Overall, eight teams that participated in postseason play last year will visit PNC Arena.
In addition to hosting the Seminoles, Blue Devils and Tar Heels in ACC action, the Wolfpack will also entertain Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
Joining the Stanford Cardinal on NC State’s list of non-conference opponents slated to come to Raleigh as part of the PNC Arena season-ticket package are 2012 NCAA Tournament participants Norfolk State, St. Bonaventure and UNC-Asheville. The Pack’s other non-conference opponents include Miami (Ohio), UNC-Greensboro and Western Michigan. Pack fans will also have the opportunity to purchase single game tickets when NC State faces Cleveland State at historic Reynolds Coliseum.
Pack fans can be a part of the action with ticket plans starting at $217. New for this season is a season ticket holder incentive program. Ten unique prizes will be given away between Sept. 1-10, with one drawing per day. Among the prizes are 2013 ACC Tournament tickets, behind-the-scenes access, throwback ticket pricing, seat upgrades, autograph prize packs, bookstore and concessions vouchers, and much more. Everyone who purchases their season tickets by August 31 will be eligible for any of the ten drawings, while anyone who places their order between September 1-9 will be eligible, starting with the next day’s drawing. Accounts are automatically entered upon placing an order. Further details, such as which prizes will be drawn on which days, will be released in August.
Wolfpack basketball action gets underway with the inaugural “Primetime With The Pack” set for Friday, Oct. 12 at PNC Arena.
