RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- North Carolina State is two plays from having a seven-game winning streak -- and two other plays from being under .500.

That has the Wolfpack (5-3, 2-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) lamenting the ones that got away and hoping they can put last-place Virginia away much earlier than their last few opponents.

Each of N.C. State's last four games has come down to the final minute. The Wolfpack claimed dramatic victories over Maryland and Florida State but lost to Miami and to rival North Carolina last week when they gave up a 74-yard punt return for the winning touchdown with 13 seconds left.

Coach Tom O'Brien says his players "finally were starting to get angry" and wants them to channel that frustration onto the field.
