North Carolina's Withers Headed To Ohio State

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- North Carolina interim coach Everett Withers says he is heading to Ohio State to become Urban Meyer's co-defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.

There have been reports and speculation about the move for days. Withers had even acknowledged the possibility before confirmed it while speaking to reporters Wednesday.

I guess UNC could not forgive him for giving the game ball to Butch Davis after the first game.

Good for him! I am very confident he will emerge again as a head coach somewhere. He has a very bright future. Good luck Coach Withers and we appreciate all that you have done at UNC!!

Glad he got a job.He appears to be a very classy guy & good coach. I still cannot believe UNC choose Fedora over Withers. I Think he did a good job in 2011 season under the circumstances. Buy what do i know>I am just a UNC Hater.

But you didn't appreciate him enough to give him the job. We all know why.
