Florida State Rips No. 3 North Carolina 90-57

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Deividas Dulkys scored a career-high 32 points and Michael Snaer added 17 as Florida State stunned No. 3 North Carolina 90-57 on Saturday, snapping the Tar Heels' nine-game winning streak.

The Seminoles (11-6, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) started the second half on a 30-8 run to take a 66-36 lead en route to their first home win over North Carolina since 2004. Florida State never trailed.

Dulkys, whose previous career-high was 22 points, was 12 of 14 from the field and 8 of 10 from 3-point range. He added four steals and a blocked shot

Harrison Barnes scored 15 points and Tyler Zeller added 14 for North Carolina (15-3, 2-1), which finished 4 of 21 from 3-point range.

I see the drama queen with all the exclamation points is back. How appropriate that a drama queen is also a UNC-CHeat fan, "just sayn" (too quote your in-eloquence). Don't worry, Wal-Mart will have a sale on CHeater Hill gear after the NCAA hammers them for makor rules infractions. Do you not realize yet that you are an embarrassment to UNC grads, and they look upon you with disgust? My word man, have a little pride.

You are really rather simple, huh? Do you not understand that you prove my point?! This is starting to feel like going back and forth with someone that is developmentally delayed. Cornell is an ACADEMIC institution that also happens to have athletic teams (secondarily). UNC-CHeat bills itself as an academic institution first and foremost, but the whole football cheating scandal of the past year belies this mission; i.e. UNC-CHeat sold their academic soul for a Tire Bowl. Then you come on here, a non UNC-CHeat attendee or graduate and simplistically and with quite the over-dramatic flair... beat your chest about a school that has been academically shamed. We call this irony. Do I need to paint you a picture or draw a road map before you get it. This is becoming farcical! As I said before, UNC-CHeat graduates would get this point and look upon you with either shame and/or disdain.

It still amazes me how some people can hate their home state team so much, and hate them because they are so good.

Perhaps because the fans of this "home state team" are arrogant (for no reason- the majority didn't go there and couldn't find Chapel Hill on a map) and the University itself not only has neglected and scorned the east historically (you live in Williamston), wastes tax payers money (receiving 25% of the budget amongst 16 schools!), but also has their alum. talking about NOT being a state school, going private, all so they can admit more out of state students. Yeah, some "home state team"! LOL. This "home state team" does not care much for its "home state", especially where you live.Keep drinking the powder blue Kool-Aid.

SamBuck does not have the intellectual wherewithal to graduate from high school, much less a 4 year school of any variety. If you did graduate from high school, seek an attorney and a law suit, they failed you miserably by passing you. Irony; not that you'd understand. LOL! Typical "Kerliner" Wal-heel. In your case, I'm sure it is multi-generational... poor heredity.

Its hard to type sarcasm! Everybody knows where UNC is, but without Goggling it I have no idea where Cornhole is, but I am a fan of Big Red chewing gun. By the way, I have an AS and a BS and work as an Engineer.

Sam: You've never heard of Cornell? This wiill sound conceited (my apologies), but it is seceral rungs higher and more repected on the academic food chain than UNC-Chapel Hill. They also have not sold their souls for a few Tire Bowls like the UNC-CHeat has done. Is your BS from UNC-Chapel Hill? You're an engineer and you can't spell Google? Congratulations on liking cinnamon gum, I'm sure your momma is proud and keeps you well stocked! You're not very good at this internet jousting, are you?

How observant of you, not. I was responding to Sam's statement about why North Carolinians "hate their home team". I was born and raised here (went off to college, moved back, and have lived here ever since). UNC has always been prima donnas that look down their Dean Smith noses at other North Carolinians outside of Chapel Hill. Even UNC fans with no association to the school other than a predilection for light blue do this. They fail to understand that the UNC alum. take their money and secretly laugh at them and their blue-collar backgrounds. Now do you understand the context of my response, genius? I sure hope my writing skills were up to your standards this time.

I guess you all are having a field day with the UNC loss. If it were a common thing it would be no big deal but its rare so have your fun because we dont care. Still the best team in this state!! As far as leaving the game early it was suggested by the Fl State coaching staff for him to do that so he did, no big deal. Have fun you morons!!

Another "price you pay" is having egotistical, obnoxious fans that didn't even attend the school they are bragging about. No matter- UNC-CHeat will continue to waste your tax money, all the while the Tarheel grads laugh behind your back!

UNC just has more band-wagon fans than most and they also tend to be under-educated and louder than most as well. These traits make for quite a humorous and pathetic mix.
