Duke Announces 20-Player Signing Class

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Duke coach David Cutcliffe went coast to coast to find the players who can turn the Blue Devils into winners.

Cutcliffe on Wednesday announced a 20-man recruiting class that includes players from four time zones. He says "I feel like it, after all the travels."

Two of the Blue Devils' highest profile signees were a pair of late instate commitments, back Jela Duncan of Charlotte and back Keilin Rayner of Leland.

From beyond the North Carolina border, Duke landed Colorado native Max McCaffrey -- a back who's the son of former NFL receiver Ed McCaffrey -- and back Deion Williams of Long Beach, Calif.

Duke doesn't assign positions to signees, instead listing them as backs, linemen, quarterbacks or kickers.

Scout.com ranked Duke's class 10th in the ACC and 63rd nationally.
