Duke QB Renfree A Game-Time Decision Vs Virginia

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Duke says quarterback Sean Renfree will be a game-time decision for Saturday's game against Virginia.

Coach David Cutcliffe said after practice Thursday that Renfree has been limited this week but is improving each day.

He says backup Anthony Boone has taken most of the snaps during practice.

Renfree is a three-year starter who ranks sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference with an average of 256 yards passing. He was hurt last week at Wake Forest when he was hit on his right (throwing) elbow in the third quarter.

Boone took over and led Duke (4-1, 1-0) to two fourth-quarter touchdowns, scoring the go-ahead TD on a keeper with 11:35 left in the 34-27 victory.
