WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Duke has a few pesky streaks it wants desperately to end. Snapping one this week will go a long way toward taking care of another one.
The Blue Devils (3-1, 0-0 ACC) on Saturday will try to beat Wake Forest (3-1, 1-1) for the first time since 1999. A victory would put them on solid footing to claim their first bowl berth since 1994.
The past dozen Duke-Wake Forest games seem to have a few things in common: They're mostly tight, and they always seem to go to the Demon Deacons. They have won the past 12 -- their longest winning streak against an ACC opponent.
Both teams enter with winning records for just the third time since 1971. They were each 1-0 in 2010 and 4-3 in 2008.
