Duke's Randolph Joins Big Three In Miami

MIAMI (AP) -- Shavlik Randolph is back with the Miami Heat.

The team announced Tuesday that they have re-signed Randolph, a free agent forward. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Randolph appeared in six games last season with the Heat and Portland Trail Blazers. He began the season with the Miami and after he was waived in December, he signed with the Trail Blazers. Portland later waived him, before he signed a 10-day contract with the Blazers in January.

He re-signed with the Heat in April.

The former Duke standout has averaged 2.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 95 career NBA games.

Bill, with this situation, I feel like each of the 3 will put their egos to the side and go for one thing that they have always wanted. That's a championship. Only D-Wade has had one before and LeBron wants nothing other than a championship. As far as them flopping, I don't see that happening until maybe a few years down the road like Kobe and Shaq did. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm thinking. This comes from an Orlando Magic fan to.

Sam, you giving the big three too much credit. I think they flop. Too many egos on one floor. If Randolph is big enough to make the news as a free agent for them, they are in trouble in my opinion. The guy is a flop.

Looks like the boy from Broughton will be given an NBA championship ring most likely! Has not done anything in the NBA like he did in college, and now has 3 stars to team up with. Guess that's like Adam Morrison ending up on the Lakers! Shavlik can thank Lebron, D-Wade, and Bosh in the future.
