CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- North Carolina coach Roy Williams says his Tar Heels will tweak how they do things next season after last year's struggles. Just don't expect massive changes.
The Tar Heels finished 20-17, his worst record as a head coach. Things didn't get much better after the season when twin big men David and Travis Wear transferred and left a surprised coaching staff scrambling to find last-minute additions for a depleted front line.
Williams has been quick to point out that what he had done as a coach had worked for more than 20 years before last season's struggles. The Hall of Famer says there will be some changes for next year, but he also says he won't " throw everything out of the window."
